Having a spot of bother! My newly arrived pro duo compatible adaptor with 2 gb micro sd included
doesnt do anything in my 1000 xcept make it report no memory card inserted when i try to format it? but apart from that its turned my card access light into a pretty cool 70s style disco phenomena!     just want to know if ill have to format it in fat16 of fat 32 and if there exists software which would do it making it more sony compliant?  (for my Pc) emmm der i think thats it all! :)

Format it to FAT32 and if you still have problems try defragmenting it. ;)
